Privacy Policy

Delta Grown ("we", "our", "us") operates a wholesale marketplace that connects farmers with retailers. This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information. Name, email, phone number, business or farm name, and your role on the platform.
  • Transaction data. Products listed, offers exchanged, orders placed, invoices generated, and the warehouses involved.
  • Support content. Tickets and replies you submit through the support feature.
  • Technical data. IP address, browser type, and minimal cookie data needed to keep you signed in and prevent abuse.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate the platform, fulfil offers and orders, prevent fraud, communicate with you about your account, and improve our product. We do not sell personal data.

3. Sharing

Counterparties to a transaction (the matching retailer or farmer) see the information necessary to complete the transaction (business name, contact info, order details). We use vetted service providers for hosting (Vercel), database and authentication (Supabase), and file storage (Vercel Blob); they process data on our behalf under written agreements.

4. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Transaction and invoice records are retained for at least seven years to comply with accounting obligations. Read notifications are pruned after 90 days.

5. Your rights

You can view and edit most of your information in the platform's Settings page. To request a copy or deletion of your personal data, email privacy@deltagrown.com.

6. Security

We use TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest, row-level security in the database, and rate-limited authentication. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users of any incident as required by law.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the application and via email.
